In a normal year, I would be up in Philadelphia along with all my other co-workers to work together and hang out.

COVID caused us to skip our May get-together completely. For September, we're doing something virtually to support two great projects:

  • Ruby for Good helps connect developers who want to help out with open source charitable projects.
  • TechGirlz works with middle-school girls to help them explore technology as a future career.

The project I'm working on this week is Abalone, a data tracking project with a goal towards saving various species of abalone, an endangered marine snail.

Looking forward to the week and contributing however I can.
