We've continued to get a lot more rain than normal. As I write this, we're getting flood warnings. Our house is high enough and on enough of a slope that we're safe, but there are areas close to Oak Creek that have been ordered to evacuate. We're expected to have a wet winter (not necessarily cold, just wet).
October was eventful mostly because my in-laws visited for most of October. We saw the fall colors at the Snow Bowl up in Flagstaff and got to visit the Grand Canyon again.

Overall, it was a nice visit, and it was great to share some of the local environment with the in-laws who live in northern PA.
Movies
- They Will Kill You was a really fun flick. A stylish action/horror film.
- Apex, which was direct to Netflix, wasn't bad. Seen worse for sure.
- Normal (2025) was another fun one. A bit of bloody action.

- Wildwood was amazing. If the year ended now, it'd be my favorite film of the year. The technical achievement is astonishing. It's one of those rare films that gave me goosebumps at one point. See this at the theaters.
- Clayface was a lot more than I was expecting, being about the birth of one of Batman's main villains. Some squeemish scenes. It's been a while since I had to watch some events on screen between my fingers as I was failing to attempt to hide them from what they were seeing.
